I like your colour scheme, and it is clear and easy to read against the background. I think that a white background works well here because the colours of the fruits are so different. It can be difficult to choose a background that works well with all fruits. I do agree that this might appeal more to girls than boys, however, I don't think that it will put boys off. This will get a good functional skills mark.
Now I'd like you to do another poster to try out a few graphic techniques on the same idea - but don't stick to the functional skills rules. Try out some new ideas and see what you can learn.
I like the poster because it has all the information required. The pictures are godd. But I would suggest that you have some different colours than just purple. Me being a boy, purple is not my colour. But nontheless, a good poster.
